Bring your friends and join us for live music every Sunday afternoon. Take in a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, and be sure to join us for our Festivals & Events. We are also the perfect place for a wedding, party, reunion, fund-raiser and more.

Wines

Our wines are produced on-site from grapes grown on land that has been in our family since the early 1800s. Our winery is located in a 100-year-old barn, and you'll enjoy our award-winning wines and your favorite beer. To learn more, please check out our Wine List.

Festivals & Events

Menard County is known for Lincoln's New Salem and great festivals. Our Summer Festivals, Chicken Wing Cook-off, and others draw thousands each year with days filled with top bands and great food.

19th Annual Wine & Music Festival Featuring Sequoia Drive

Memorial Day Weekend and the beginning of the summer season are finally here. Hill Prairie Winery is hosting our annual Music and Wine festival on Sunday May 26. The pavilion will be open, and live music by Sequoia Drive. Truck'n Sauced Competition BBQ will be on hand serving up the best food in the area. Hill Prairie will be serving our wines, slushies, beers and more. There will be something for everyone. So pack up the family, bring your lawn chairs and tent if you like, and enjoy some great food, drinks, and music, in the beautiful surroundings of Hill Prairie Winery. Our doors open at noon and food will be available at that time. Music begins at 2 p.m.

Children are welcome and those under 21 are admitted free. There is a $5 admission for adults.

Friday Wine Down

Our grilling season serving hours are from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The menu will include our signature smoked ribs, grilled steaks, grilled shrimp skewers and a rotating special each week.  Call 217-635-9900 if you would like to make a reservation.
