We want to thank all those who came to our Valentine Dinner on the 14th.  As you all know the Dueling Piano players were not able to perform because they got caught in a white out.  I mistakenly reported that they were stranded near Indianapolis.  That was not correct.  They performed the night before in Bowling Green Ohio and were on their way here via interstate 80.  They got as far as the South Bend area before the interstate was closed down and could go no further.  We invite you to check out the link provided to verify what we have told you.

Even though we were fortunate enough to find a quality replacement only two and a half hours before the appointed time, we know that our customers did not get to experience the entertainers they had paid to see.  We are appreciative of the understanding for the situation that almost all of you expressed to us.  Having said that we want to make amends as best as we can to our loyal friends and customers.  We can't refund the whole amount of your ticket.  We did provide a good meal and we paid extra for the entertainment that we were able to get for you at the last possible moment.  Per our contract with the entertainment company for the Dueling Pianos, the incident falls under "Act of God", which is a  convenient legal way to avoid monetary obligations.  All said and done we paid the bill but got no relief when the players could not get here.  So we paid for essentially two performances.  We realize none of this is your fault or concern.  We just want everyone to understand our situation.

What we would like to offer those who attended the dinner is the opportunity to see the same Dueling Piano performers on June 21 for free plus a free drink on the house.  This way you can save the cost of admission and have a drink on us before enjoying the performers you all love.  There will not be any other opportunities offered to offset your inconvenience of missing the Piano performance in February.  Please plan to take advantage of this opportunity.  All you have to do is identify yourself as someone who attended the Valentine Dinner and we will check your name against the attendance list for that event.

We value our customers and feel very fortunate to have so many loyal and friendly people attend our establishment.  We hope this gesture helps at least in some small way.
