How
the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre works:
You may call for tickets at
(217) 635-9900, or come visit the winery and purchase them ($40 each) at our
tasting room. Each ticket is good for one meal plus the entertainment for the
evening. The main course will be a grilled Fillet Mignon, or Prime Rib
depending on the time of year and outdoor grilling conditions. Drinks are
purchased separately.
Arrival time is suggested for 6
PM. We will take your ticket and show you to your seat, as seats will be
assigned. You may sample our wines for free at the tasting bar or purchase your
favorite wine or beer before dinner, or simply enjoy our gift shop and vineyard
views. The actors for the evening will be (at this time) mingling with the
guests. They will be in character, and inquiring for volunteers to accept parts
in the play. This is strictly voluntary!
Once all the parts are spoken
for and we know everyone is accounted for, we will ask everyone to be seated
and begin the fun. Your meal will be served at your seat in courses between
acts of the play. The entire event will last until approximately 9:30PM.
