Valentines Dinner
Our popular Valentines Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 18. A buffet dinner will be served from 6 pm - 7 pm followed by live music provided by Hipbone Sam & Friends from 7 pm until 10 pm. Winter Hours
Hill Prairie Winery is now observing our winter hours. We are closed Monday and Tuesday of each week, but are open Wednesday - Saturday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. Sunday hours are Noon - 5:00 pm with your favorite musicians each week. Other than major festivals, there is never a cover charge.
Wednesday Wine Down
Good News! Wednesday Wine Down continues this winter. And to top it off, you can now order a skewer of shrimp with your order. We grill the highest grade choice Certified Angus Steaks and tender BBQ ribs. Your meal includes salad and baked potato. Food will be served from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Please call ahead for reservations at 635-9900, but not required.
Howell-N-Good BBQ will be serving their signature food of pulled pork BBQ sandwiches and pork wings on the first Sunday of each month. Let them do the cooking! Watch BBQ video (click).
Be sure to enjoy the Sunday performances of the area's best musicians. And don't forget that the 2011 line up of dinner theatres can be found on our "Mystery Theatre" page and we encourage everyone to get tickets early. Please call us at (217) 635-9900 for tickets.
Hill Prairie Winery is a great place to relax, enjoy some great wines and reunite with nature in the rolling vineyard. Bring your friends to take in live entertainment each weekend as we are open all year. We offer over 15 award winning wines (along with beer and soft drinks) by the glass or the bottle. Enjoy our rural environment with rolling hills, ponds, our 100 year old barn, windmill and acres of delicious grapes. We even offer tours of our wine making process. Hill Prairie Winery entered nine wines in the 2010 Illinois commercial wine competition and all nine were awarded medals. Please visit our "Wines" page to learn more about our many delicious wines.
Winter Hours: Wednesday - Saturday from 11:00 am - 5:00 PM
Sundays 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Starting June 1st, we will back to our seven day per week schedule.

The beauty of rustic nature with all of the amenities and conveniences.
 Imagine your wedding in front of the water, the vineyard or in nature's beauty. We are the perfect setting for a wedding rehearsal dinner, wedding and wedding reception. We have a large indoor room in our 100 year old barn, a large pavilion and acres of nature's best. We are the perfect site for your school and family reunion, company retreat, business meeting, Christmas party and more. Please call us for more details. Many places charge hundreds or over $1,000 for your wedding site. If you book your reception at the winery, then your wedding in the beautiful rolling hills of our vineyard is free! Save the fee for your honeymoon!
